I Would give the backpack 4.6 stars. I am replacing a 10 year old Jansport Odyssey 38. straps started to fray and elastic was loosing it. The new model of the 38 has been scaled way back and no longer would fit my needs. I wanted a backpack I could use for work, put under the airplane seat and use as a daypack for hiking. It is 35 liters, and is wider than my Odyssey, but the Odyssey achieved 38 liters by bulging out 12". The semi stiff back panel is flexible enough to cram under an airplane seat.PROSVersatile, with many pockets. Like the semi hard back and covers on upper center, and lower side zippered pockets.Bottom zippered compartment is perfect for my raincoat, I always have it and it is out of the way.Front center compartment has the small inner pockets for pens, calculator, etc. In part makes this an urban crossover pack which I wanted.Inner main compartment is huge, with another unzippered pouch inside which is great for my electronics.Back zippered pouch easily handles my 15.6" laptop and provides protection, it has another sleeve in it too.Upper "Star Wars Looking" hardened zippered compartment is felt lined, great for glasses or headphones.Small zippered pouches on upper sides are for the misc stuffCONSWould have liked more padding on the shoulder straps, but OKWaste strap could have been more padded, and would have been good to have a place to tuck it away. I wrapped mine around the front and clipped them together.There is no mesh bottle holder. That being said I put my 750ml Camelback in the side zippered compartment and it disappears, they are that big. I can easily fit a 1 liter in them.Zippers are very stiff and have to have the material lined up to operate smoothly. I need to lubricate them somehow, I haven't done that yet. I wish the big compartment had 2 zippers. Also they zip from the back to the front, they should zip the other direction, so things don't fall out if you forget to zip all the way. 2 zippers would be better. This way the water bottle would be an easy grab and then the mesh pocket would not be needed.OVERALL4.6 stars, mostly due to the shoulder padding and the zippers. I have gotten many compliments on the backpack. Pricey, yes, but some of the features I would find are top quality like my Gregory Baltoro 70. I haven't used it as a daypack, but it will be fine. Construction is good. I will need to pick up a rain fly for it, it is not waterproof.I had been planning to purchase the Kitchen Sink for a while and when I saw this I immediately ordered. I love this thing, the amount of storage is outstanding and since the bottom compartment has a ton of space I can store dirty work clothes away from everything else. The added buckle in front that goes across the chest really helps when I'm having to run or make movements that would throw the shoulder straps off. This thing is so good looking too, the black with red accents is sharp. It is really nice that the back panel is sturdy so I can't feel any book or electronics I place in there. There is only two things I am not too fond of on the backpack. The straps on the lower side pockets are not straps like the normal Kitchen Sink but just hard plastic/leather that doesn't stretch. The other is that the zippers on the lower and upper side compartments zip from top to bottom, I worry that something will fall out if they aren't completely closed. Maybe newer Oakley bags should have an attachment point for the zippers so that when they are in the closed position they cant accidently open or catch on something.I love it! I am a first year law school student. I was in the market for a backpack big enough to carry all my books and supplies on a daily basis without being one of those people pulling a wagon of books everywhere. I can fit everything I need for every class I have during the week. This is what I was hoping to accomplish as I live 30 miles from school and would hate to have to go back as I left something at home. I am so impressed with this bag I also use it for work as well. It may be heavy, but it carries everything as you can see in the pictures. I have been lugging it around for 2 months so far, I am curious to see if this bag will not only last the rest of the school year but throughout my law school career. I will make updates as time goes by. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in grad school like me and lives out of their car.He is a bag person and he loves this! It has alot of pocketsI was given the same backpack for Christmas two years ago. Almost a year later my car was broken into my backpack was stolen along with many items. When I could afford it I bought another replacement only it was Black/Camo. I like the bag but just never felt the same as I did for the all Black bag. It’s not easy to find this backpack anywhere especially where I live. But just six days ago here on Amazon.com I found both these backpacks. Now I feel like I’m complete. To others is just a bag to me it was a gift that meant something to me.You can truly put everything but the kitchen sink in this bag. If it is volume you seek, this is the bag for you. After a recent trip where we had to throw away some things at the airport or pay a $100 overweight fee, I decided to get this bag and use as an additional "travel" bag. The bag does not have double zipper closures so lacks the ability to place a small lock on each section. Other than that, the bag is flawless.First off I am a huge oakley fanboy. They fall short in the back pack category. My clasp broke on the almost 300.00 backpack and oakley will not do anything about it. I have had 50.00 backbacks last longer. I would never buy another I will stick to ogio.Bag has a lot of room. If you can't put what you need, in here, you should probably use a suitcase. My 17" laptop is just a smidge to long to fit, in the back zipper area, but fits just fine, on the inside. Also .. under the main compartment flap and the liner .. it doesn't have "Oakley" in the fabric, as it shows in the ad. I'm an oilfield worker and this bag is perfect for what I need it for.Great product and arrived fast would buy againComprei após esgotar o uso de uma Targo que eu amava. Fiquei satisfeito com esse modelo da Oakley, muito bonita, resistente e bom tamanho. O compartimento pra sapatos, me agradou bastante (ele é parte do compartimento central, só que isolado dele). O compartimento para óculos não me atendeu em nada. É rígido, para proteger o óculos mas me parece pequeno e não dá pra usar para guardar muitas outras coisas nele. o compartimento pra carteira também achei pequeno pro meu gosto. Os laterais maiores são rígidos limitando o uso e os menores são pequenos. A parte para computador é bem protegida. Me atendeu bem. As alças são fortes e bem planejadas com envolvimento no tórax e cintura.A apresentação chama a atenção de tão vistosa e bem projetada. Com fivelas de metal, argolas de alumínio frontais que dão um aspecto rústico ainda assim elegante. O visual é indiscutivelmente um destaque. O equilíbrio da mochila quando apoiada no fundo, não é bom. Ela inclina para frente. Isso me decepcionou. Tenho que passar as alças nas costas das cadeiras pra ela não cair no chão.Resumindo. Eu não compraria outra mochila desse modelo. Manteria a marca mas escolheria uma outra com a compartimentação mais adequada às minhas exigências.Excelente calidad, me gusta mucho, aunque no puedo ocuparla para llevar termos de 1.2L, no entran en las bolsas laterales, son amplias mas no altas; cualquier termo grande tiene que ir dentro, con riesgo de derramarse. se siente demasiado pesada sin llevar cosas, consideren añadir un peso adicional como de kilo y medio, el espacio interior es bueno, a la vista encanta.Una excelente mochila. Ventajas:-Aligera el contenido que coloques dentro-Su diseño permite llevar todo lo que necesites en completo orden por sus múltiples espacios-Del entrenamiento deportivo a la oficina con todo lo necesario sin dejar absolutamente nada en el automóvil previniendo robos. Al desempacarla me fascinó, dude por los pesada que se sentía. Pero cuando la llevas puesta es tan ligera como unos tenis para correr y de hecho te permite correr por los cinturones de sujeción afianzándola a tu espalda sin molestias. ¡Una excelente compra! ????Bag looked good, seemed sturdy, but had to return it. Unfortunately it was far too small for what I required. Had a compartment for shoes - shoes could not possibly fit in it. Good bag for a few things and maybe a change of clothes or two, probably even better for a student looking for something that looks nice, but if you're utilitarian and need a backpack with plenty of space, I replaced it with a 5.11 Tactical RUSH72 - which I would highly recommend.
