This product came on time and is just what I needed. I ordered this as a replacement for my Fjallraven Kanken Classic. The classic is a great backpack but was not ideal for what I needed daily for my college courses. It could barely fit my 13" Macbook Pro, a binder, a notebook, and a pencil pouch. The straps were also extremely uncomfortable when I had my laptop inside. I am so happy I purchased this bag because it is everything I needed! This backpack can fit my 13" Macbook Pro in the sleeve, leaving about 1/2" of space at the top. The padded laptop compartment makes me feel that my laptop is well protected. The padded shoulder straps have made a world of a difference! I can now fit all the items that could barely fit in the classic while still leaving ample space! Another positive detail is that since the 15" backpack is wider, the sleeve on the side of the backpack can now fit my S'well water bottle (the classic backpack sleeve was so small it could barely fit an umbrella). I've attached comparison photos of the 15" and the classic Kanken.Another side note, one review on here said that they suspected their backpack was fake. This terrified me and left me prepared to have to go through the hassle of returns. This backpack is either genuine or a VERY good fake. All of the details of this bag are identical to my classic Kanken, which I am 100% certain is authentic.
