This is a perfect weekender size pack. Please note that all my photos are with the pack EMPTY, and this is a true 45 liter pack. The side water bottle pockets are deep and LARGE. I photographed with a 33 ounce plastic water bottle, but this pack will easily fit a much larger size. The water bottle pockets are deep and prevent tip-out well. The pack sits comfortably at my hips like a women’s pack should and will adjust well to shorter women as well. I’m 5’9”/170 am wearing the M/L pack. It’s highly adjustable while wearing to get your pack to sit where you like and to adjust the weight distribution to more shoulders or more hips. I tend to adjust/alternate while hiking and this pack is perfect if you do the same. Packed with pockets and well made/sturdy.The “mud red” color is a true burgundy and is slightly darker in person than it appears in my photos.Osprey makes a great product and this pack is no exception. Hardware feels very durable and I anticipate this pack lasting me for years. The only (small) gripe I have is the handle at the top of the bag is very thin. For this reason, I will likely only move, pick up the bag using the shoulder straps.
